Pollee in action at Distortion

Pollee is an open air, no-touch pissoir for the ladies, specifically designed for festivals, concerts and outdoor parties. One Pollee can accommodate four girls at once, and is used in a semi-squat stance that requires no touching – although handles on the sidewalls are there to support balance. Pollee was originally developed for Roskilde Festival, but has now been redesigned for the urban environment.

PeeBetter Lab CPH

Wednesday the 30th of May at 5 PM UiWE and Sara Nanna opens at Distortion. We present two prototypes to address pee needs in public space: Pollee for the ladies and Simple P for the guys. Come for a drink and a pee!

PeeBetter is a platform designing human solutions in public space launched by UiWE. We are currently working on two designs as well as strategic approaches to handle pee culture.

PROTOTYPE ZONE AT ROSKILDE 2011


PeeBetter hosts a prototype zone at Roskilde Festival 2011 presenting 3 different variations of the new female Urinal. Pollee Shy, Pollee Topless and Pollee Naked have different designs and different degrees of privacy. We hope to get good feedback on what’s really important for girls when they pee – be it speed, privacy, a good view or comfort. Pass by for glass and a pee at Pollee’s unveiling, Thursday at 6pm between Orange Stage and Odeon.

POLLEE THE NEW FEMALE URINAL

PeeBetter and UIWE present Pollee – our first prototype for a new, shared female urinal. Pollee is an open air, touch-free urinal made for a semi-squat position.

We made three different variations of our female urinal to test and evaluate at Roskilde Festival and online.

Pollee Shy – for those who appreciate privacy

Pollee Topless – a good view, yet some discretion

Pollee Naked – the fast one for the free spirits

We are still experimenting and would love to hear what you need when you pee.
